OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Caretaker/Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will already have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. This job requires a pro-active individual with strong attention to detail and a diverse range of skills.
Main Responsibilities:
· Unlocking of buildings
· Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness within all building areas
· Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness on walkways, grounds and court areas
· Daily maintenance of all court surfaces, grounds and buildings
· Ensure removal of waste throughout the site
· Undertake regular visual inspections of all areas to ensure maintenance issues are reported and dealt with in a timely manner
· Event set up to include moving of furniture
· Dealing with deliveries
· Undertake minor repairs and maintenance using own skill set
· Keeping Bar Cellar clean, fully operational and well maintained
· Overall responsibility of all site Health and Safety
· Liaise with current suppliers/contractors used to ensure high levels of service
· Report significant maintenance/buildings/grounds issues that may require an additional external contractor, gain quotes to discuss best course of action with Manager
Essential Attributes:
· Friendly and approachable personality
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Attention to detail
· Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
· Excellent “handyman” skills i.e carpentry, basic brickwork, plumbing, decorating, gardening, DIY etc
· Ability to adapt to different situations and problem solve
· Knowledge of health and safety practices
The role will work in a shift pattern with another person to ensure our facilities are well staffed on a daily basis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £15,600.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
