We are seeking to appoint a reliable and adaptable Caretaker to join our site team on a permanent basis. This is an important role in ensuring our school is safe, secure and well maintained and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our busy secondary school.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

• Dependable, flexible and takes prides in their work.
• Practical and confident in carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience in a school or similar setting is desirable, although not essential
• Aware of Health & Safety requirements (training will be provided)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Caretaker will play a key role in maintaining our site to a high standard, carrying out general caretaking and handyperson duties, and ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unlocking and locking the site and ensuring overall site security.
• Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance including handyperson tasks.
• Assisting with deliveries, furniture moves and other practical site tasks.
• Supporting the site team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
