Claims will be received daily via our online portal and as well as by email. Administrative duties include daily setup of claim submissions, data entry, and support of Cargo Claims Specialist position. The Cargo Claims Intake Support position requires a sense of urgency, accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and a positive attitude. Accurately input a high volume of data for claim file set-up. Identify transportation documents and incoming correspondence with accuracy. Upload information to document management system for file maintenance and Cargo Claims Specialist review. Ensure electronic files are complete and accurate, including transportation documents, relevant claim documents and correspondence Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Possess the ability to learn an internal document management and Claims systems High level of ability to read and write English Demonstrate an understanding of when to escalate issues to the attention of Cargo Claims Specialist or Supervisor. Ability to understand, manage, and prioritize with a sense of urgency. Ability to work with team members and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Entry level position, however, must be able to use a computer, type, and enter data in Claims System. Ability to read and write English is required. Prior experience with transportation documentation is desirable, but not required. This job will be full-time onsite at Expeditors' office in Monterrey, NL.
