Description

Cargo Sales - Service customers to meet their shipping needs and to secure optimal support in terms of Revenue. Maximize the cargo loading and applying the principle of yield management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or higher
  • Class 3 driving license
  • More than 2 years’ experience in Airline industry
  • Airline knowledge background highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of export/import and cross trade shipments and requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel/Word/Powerpoint or more)
  • Customer oriented with pleasant disposition and ability to communicate with all level of people
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and strong communicative ability
  • Pro-active, self-motivated individual who works well independently
  • Intercultural team player
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Safety-minded
  • Understanding of company’s brand, service & philosophy
  • Willing to work at Changi Airport

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed cargo sales targets by promoting the airline’s cargo services
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new accounts across various industries
  • Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, logistics partners and direct clients
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base by providing excellent service and regular follow-up
  • Analyze client needs and offer tailored solutions that align with the airline’s cargo capabilities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to management
  • Coordinate closely with cargo operations, customer service, and station team to ensure smooth delivery of service
  • Participate in industry trade shows, networking events, and promotional campaigns
