KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in 1st fix carpentry and roofing
• Previous work on listed or heritage buildings
• Own tools and transport essential
• Able to work independently without the need for drawings
• Tidy, reliable, and a good communicator
• CSCS card preferred but not required

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable carpenter to join the team at the Nonsuch Estate in Chippenham. The role involves first fix carpentry and roofing – including studwork, floors, joists, and general timber work – as part of a large-scale restoration of a listed property.
Experience working on listed or heritage buildings is essential, as care and attention to detail are a must. The project is ongoing and offers consistent work in a supportive and professional setting.
