Job Description Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair all wooden furniture, doors, panels, and fixtures throughout the hotel. Fix damages promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. Fabrication & Installation: Construct, assemble, and install furniture, cabinets, doors, and other wooden structures as per design specifications. Modify or adapt furniture and structures to meet operational requirements. Quality & Standards: Ensure all carpentry work meets hotel quality standards, brand guidelines, and local safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Engineering/Maintenance team on renovation or refurbishment projects. Report work progress, required materials, and any safety hazards to the supervisor. Tools & Inventory: Properly use, maintain, and store carpentry tools and equipment. Assist in inventory management of carpentry materials and report shortages. Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage, to prevent accidents. Adhere to hotel policies, local regulations, and Accor operational standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter in hospitality, construction, or similar environments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Knowledge of hand and power tools, woodworking machinery, and safety procedures. Attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Education: High school diploma or technical certificate in Carpentry or related field. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in carpentry and maintenance. Working Conditions: Shift work may be required. Exposure to wood dust, noise, and workshop environment.
