JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodwork, furniture construction, and repair, and will be able to read blueprints and technical drawings. The Carpenter will ensure high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work on-site.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry or woodworking.

• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood, metal, and other materials for furniture, cabinets, doors, and other structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Repair or replace damaged woodwork, furniture, or fixtures.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time.
• Suggest improvements or modifications to designs when necessary.
