Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems. Maintain records of inspections, testing, repairs and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Provide quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in construction and renovation projects as requested. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience as carpenter and general maintenance work and/or the completion of apprenticeship in the trade. Completion of apprenticeship in the trade in lieu of above stated experience. Must be thoroughly familiar with tools, methods, techniques, equipment and procedures normally associated with trade. Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies.
