JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial structures, where you will assemble, fabricate, and install wooden structures and fixtures. QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or bending
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

• Assemble and install structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials
• Fabricate custom woodwork according to project specifications
• Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and structural integrity
• Conduct masonry work as required for specific projects
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Plumb structures to ensure they are level and properly aligned
• Carry out heavy lifting as needed during construction activities
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
