Job Title Carpenter Job Description Summary This role provides carpentry support across university campuses, delivering building maintenance, repairs, and minor project works. The position ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and well‑presented by completing reactive and planned carpentry tasks with a high standard of workmanship and customer service. Job Description Deliver reactive and planned carpentry maintenance across university buildings (doors, hardware, joinery, wall linings, fixtures, etc.). Complete minor project works such as small refurbishments, partitions, cabinetry, and interior upgrades. Diagnose building fabric issues and carry out quality repairs using correct materials and methods. Work safely within live campus environments, following all H&S procedures and permits to work. Maintain accurate job records in the work management system and communicate job status clearly. Support overall campus presentation and asset longevity through effective maintenance practices.
