POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Cabinet Maker Foreman to lead our production team in crafting luxury, high-end custom cabinetry. This hands-on leadership role requires a master craftsman who can oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensure precision workmanship, uphold exacting quality standards, and meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fine woodworking, custom millwork, and team management. Compensation based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of cabinet making experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
  • Proven expertise in high-end, custom cabinetry, millwork, and fine woodworking.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, materials, and joinery techniques.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, project management software, or CNC machinery is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise & Lead: Oversee a team of cabinet makers and apprentices; delegate tasks, monitor performance, and foster a culture of craftsmanship and accountability.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all cabinetry meets high-end finish and construction standards; inspect materials, joinery, finishes, and final installations.
  • Project Execution: Interpret detailed drawings and specifications; work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver exceptional results.
  • Hands-On Production: Participate in hands-on cabinet making, assembly, and finishing as needed to support the team or meet critical deadlines.
  • Scheduling & Workflow: Coordinate job scheduling, prioritize tasks, and manage material inventory to optimize shop productivity.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff; promote a continuous learning environment.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Enforce safety protocols, maintain clean and organized workspaces, and ensure machinery is properly maintained.
