JOB DESCRIPTION

• Licensed (or equivalent) Skilled Carpenter / Project Lead to manage and work, Large Residential Renovation projects with minimum 5 plus years experience in general carpentry / renovations / framing.
• Expected to be hands on and on-site.
• Blueprint reading and interpreting an asset.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, with the ability to positively influence others to get the job done, collaborate, provide leadership to achieve desired results.
• Self motivated and hardworking.
• Excellent customer service skills required as well as understanding customer requirements.
• Proven leadership and time management skills, managing staff (delegating job tasks and working effectively as a team), meeting project deadlines
• Managing or working with subcontractors.
• Co-ordinate renovation projects independently.
• Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (Occupational Health and Safety).
• Wage is negotiable
• College or technical training an asset; Red Seal Carpenter, Building Construction, or Building Renovation Technology programs.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35-45 per week

• 8 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
