JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team, responsible for a variety of tasks related to the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in joinery, carpentry, or a related field is essential.
  • Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery tasks.
  • Knowledge of roofing practices and materials is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Experience in construction painting is desirable.
  • Familiarity with plumbing principles is a plus.
  • Basic masonry skills would be beneficial for certain projects.

    Pay: £160.00-£250.00 per day

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and drawings.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete joinery tasks.
  • Conduct roofing installations, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
  • Install kitchens to a high standard
  • Install doors to a high standard
  • Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process.
  • Engage in construction painting, providing finishing touches to completed projects.
  • Assist with plumbing tasks as needed, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
  • Undertake masonry work when required, contributing to the overall construction efforts.
  • Apply electrical experience where applicable, assisting in installations or repairs as necessary.
