We are looking for a Carpenter Helper to join our manufacturing facility in Grimsby, Ontario. Under the direction and leadership of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter Helper is responsible for the assembly of modular units and other modular building components, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.
In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofs

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of sheeting materials, including subfloors, wall sheeting, and roofing sheeting using various materials
  • Assist in the assembly of doors, windows, trim, and millwork, including the hardware and painting
  • Gather material needed for assembly of units, Installation of small finishing items
  • Pre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprints
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Other duties as assigned
