Description

Carpenter is responsible for measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets. Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and ceilings. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans. Select and order the right materials for each project. Collaborate with other team members, including architects and designers, to ensure project success. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workplace. Their work hours will be 37.5 hours per week.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and drills.
  • Experienced in assembling various wooden structures and fixtures.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques and installation practices.
  • Strong background in carpentry with a focus on joinery skills.
  • Competence in painting techniques for finishing woodwork.
  • Familiarity with basic masonry skills
  • Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
