At O’Connor Woodwork we have a vacancy for a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join our team. The candidate will be starting as a site supervisor on large fit out projects in Dublin. There will be some fitting invovled in the role
The successful candidate will be working on a number of commercial projects in the Midlands / Dublin region. Current sites include Rathcoole, Mater Hospital and Swords
There is additional pay to cover expenses for costs incurred getting to site. You will be joining a team of other qualified fitters
The role will involve fitting of specialized joinery and fitted furniture on our sites. This is a site based role.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience in the fitted furniture/joinery sector
• Experience of supervising would be idea

Experience:

• Carpentry/Joinery: 5 years (required

The successful applicant will be responsible for

• Organizing fitting crews on site.
• Setting out work for other fitters
• Dealing with client site team.
• Attending any site meetings or walkthrough as required
• Reporting any snags or issues on site back to the workshop team
• Resolving an issues on site
• Fitting to the highest standard, all units and joinery items supplied by our workshop.
• Meeting the deadlines required.

You will be working on projects such as:

• School Fit outs,
• Primary Care Centers,
• Hospitals,
• Office Fit outs
• IPS Paneling and Cubicles

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience in the fitted furniture/joinery sector
• Experience of supervising would be ideal

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay
