CARPENTER – DARLEY VIC

As the business continues to grow, our client is now seeking a skilled and qualified Carpenter to welcome into their busy team. The role is full time, and ongoing.
Location – The work base is in Darley, Victoria, with work locations across Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs.
Salary – Negotiable in the range of $75k to $90k plus superannuation per annum.

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Be involved in understanding and selecting the materials needed for individual assignments.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to construct frameworks, walls, roofs, floors, and other structural components.
• Inspect structures and materials for quality assurance, ensuring they meet building codes and specifications.
• Work closely with fellow carpenters and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, while adhering to occupational health and safety standards.
