At Mathiou Services, we’re on the lookout for a skilled Carpenter with a passion for construction to bring their expertise to our team! Based in Townsville and servicing surrounding areas, this role offers a diverse mix of projects in commercial settings, including:
Playground builds & play equipment installation
Decking, retaining walls & enclosed structures
Concreting, drainage & wet pour rubber installations
Garden prep, irrigation, planting, mulching & turfing
Astro turfing & maintenance carpentry work

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience in landscape construction
• A broad skill set and keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• A reliable, honest, and punctual work ethic
• Own hand tools & steel cap boots
• Smartphone (for job management system access)
• Current manual driver’s licence & Construction White/Blue Card
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check & obtain a Working with Children Blue Card

• 8 hour shift

• Townsville QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Carpentry: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• White Card (Preferred)
• Manual Driver Licence (Preferred)

• Australia (Preferred)
