JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Lead hand to Perform, Oversee and Coordinate various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance services. You will be responsible for Working onsite, leading a team, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in general construction and maintenance services.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid Certificate of Conduct.
• Carpenter Red Seal Certification an asset but not required

• Perform tasks and direct work to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Supervise the work of employees and sub contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Train and mentor team members in various construction techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with manager to ensure timelines and project goals are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
