JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for talented Multi-Skilled Carpenter/Maintenance technician to join our team working out of our office in Bath covering our property portfolio across mainly Bath and surrounding areas including Bristol.

ABOUT US

Bath and Bristol Property Maintenance, an established small business in the Bath and Bristol area, are looking for someone who is experienced, as we look after over 1000 complex’s within a 20 mile radius of Bath.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Providing high standards of carpentry repairs and maintenance across multi trades
• Fire prevention installations e.g construct electric cupboards, fire doors.
• Sash window repairs and renewals.
• Inspecting and diagnosing faults and repairs
• Carrying out minor and major repairs in residential properties
• Candidates having own tools an advantage but power tools can be supplied
• Candidates will have a company van provided
• Candidates are paid weekly
• Company pension scheme

As the successful candidate, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, undertaking carpentry repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment along with a relevant multi-skilled trade background (e.g. building, plumbing, electric, tiling and decorating).You’ll also have:

• Strong understanding of risk assessments
• Ability to determine the most cost-effective solutions to repairs without sacrificing on quality.
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Be confident and comfortable in using technology to communicate
• Have excellent written and spoken English
• Able to work at heights is an advantage.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and work in a small team, but complete tasks on your own
• The work is varied and will involve moving around from property to property so a full clean driving licence essential
