This has resulted in a large number of requests for medium to large construction projects in the residential and commercial arena. We are therefore looking to onboard experienced Trades People with a great attitude who are looking to further their career in Outdoor Construction.

SKILLS WE ARE SEEKING

• Sound Construction knowledge & ability
• Minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry
• A problem solver with excellent communication skills
• Sound knowledge of building codes and processes related to landscaping

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for qualified Carpenters with Leadership qualities to fill our Construction Team Leader Roles. This role is from our Sumner Park office this role will cover greater Brisbane region.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES

• Shape & cut materials to required measurements, using hand tools, machines or powersaws
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors and doorframes
• Woodworking machines, hand tools or power tools are used to build or repair frameworks, cabinets, doors, floors and other wooden fixtures used in buildings
• Instruct and direct labourers and other construction helpers
• Performing cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
