Description

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. You will be responsible for a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, interior joinery, bespoke cabinetry. Not all aspects of carpentry need to be met as we understand people have different strengths.

  • Precision and Accuracy: Carry out carpentry work to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reading Plans: Interpret architectural and structural plans to guide your work.
  • Tool Proficiency: Expertly operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and woodworking machinery.
  • Material Handling: Accurately measure, cut, and join wood and other materials.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all carpentry work meets safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise on site.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: minimum of 5 years
  • Qualifications: NVQ level 2/3
  • Skills: Eye for detail, good work ethic, reliable, able to work in a team band on your own.
  • Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Safety Awareness: Awareness and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £22.00-£23.75 per hour

Experience:

  • Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
