Rangecon Pty Ltd is a Mining services company that has been in operation for 11 years.
We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters who are keen to work FIFO for mining services & construction company operating in the Goldfields & Pilbara region. You will be working at various locations within this region - flying in and out from Perth.
The position relates to the above, we are looking for a full time carpenter who would be responsible for construction, installation and general work on civil jobs.
Our main office is located in Adelaide, but the position will be across 5 mine sites in Western Australia between the Pilbara region and the Goldfields region. The position is FIFO (2 weeks on / 1 week off).
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 + superannuation

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Australian trade qualification (or overseas equivalent) or 3 years relevant work experience
Be Trade Qualified Certificate III in Carpentry minimum and have a consistent work track record.
Can supply relevant tickets
Have an understanding and be able to follow health and safety policy and procedures
Have a current Australian drivers’ licence
Can communicate effectively - written and verbal
Pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
Can supply a police clearance 3-6 months current
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

DUTIES

Carry out construction, installation, and maintenance of timber and prefabricated structures on mine site.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other building materials to required dimensions.
Install doors, windows, flooring, partitions, cabinetry, and furniture for camp facilities.
Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with other trades (plumbers, electricians, concreters, etc.) to complete camp construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all WH& S specifications and procedures
Maintain knowledge and understanding of best practices
Maintain a tidy work environment
Organised usage of tools
Identify any issues with tooling or materials and raising this with the foreman
Follow all of Rangecon best practices.
