Built-Rite Construction Ltd. is a locally owned and operated company specializing in commercial construction including, but not limited to, local restaurants, music festivals, tourism operations, aquaculture processing and farming facilities.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hardworking individual with reliable transportation for the position of carpenter’s assistant/labourer. This role requires a strong work ethic and an interest in learning/expanding your construction and carpentry knowledge. Successful candidate will be joining our growing team who prides themselves in executing projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates will gain knowledge in the following areas. Previous experience is an asset.

• Frame carpentry
• Trim carpentry
• Construction site experience
• Roofing
• Heavy lifting capabilities
• Door installation
• Metal stud framing

• Assist experienced team members as directed in daily tasks raging from framing to finish work
• Complete material handling and organizing
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks (Training will be provided as needed)
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary to support construction activities
• Collaborate with team members on projects
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on construction sites
