We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced carpenter to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Carpenter with Service Master Restore, you’ll play a critical role in restoring residential and commercial properties. From framing to finishing, you’ll ensure high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety, timelines, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience (restoration or insurance work an asset).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations in Alberta.
  • You must be able to pass a security clearance (check for criminal convictions).
  • Ability to travel out of town for short periods of time.

Responsibilities
  • Perform demolition, framing, drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and finish carpentry work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other trades to complete jobs on time.
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
  • Document work completed and communicate job progress to construction manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service during restoration projects.
