Role Overview: Supervise civil, structural, and carpentry maintenance within the hotel to maintain safety, aesthetics, and compliance with standards. Civil & Structural Maintenance Supervise daily maintenance of building structures and finishes. Conduct inspections to identify defects. Manage corrective actions for structural issues. Carpentry & Furniture Maintenance Oversee maintenance of wooden furniture and fixtures. Ensure proper functionality of hardware and joinery. Monitor banquet and guest room furniture condition. Coordinate furniture refurbishment or replacements. Preventive Maintenance Implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) for civil and carpentry works. Conduct scheduled inspections and maintain PM records. Work Order Management Monitor Maintenance Request System and ensure timely completion of work orders. Prioritize urgent guest-related repairs. Project & Renovation Support Supervise minor renovation and repair projects. Coordinate with contractors and ensure quality compliance. Safety & Compliance Ensure safety procedures and regulations are followed. Maintain safe working conditions and equipment. Workshop & Inventory Control Maintain workshop tools and monitor stock of materials. Ensure proper housekeeping in the workshop. Staff Supervision & Leadership Supervise technicians, conduct briefings, and provide training. Encourage teamwork and multi-skilling within the team. Minimum Vocational High School / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Carpentry, Building Construction, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance, civil works, or carpentry, preferably in hotel, commercial building, or hospitality industry. English: Basic communication skills preferred Strong knowledge of building maintenance and carpentry works Understanding of construction materials and finishing techniques Ability to read basic construction drawings Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems Knowledge of hotel engineering operations Safety awareness and compliance with building regulations Ability to coordinate contractors and repair vendors
