WESTRADE carries out maintenance, renovations, repairs, and building services to residential and property management clients. We offer a multi-trade service with qualified tradesmen and skilled personnel alike. Our main work consists of active and proactive maintenance, and renovations including kitchens, bathroom modifications and general building repairs.

DUTIES & TASKS:

• Carpentry (primarily second fix, some first fix)
• General building & home maintenance (windows, doors, walls, skirting, architrave, ceilings, cornice, deck/pergola repairs, fascia/eaves repairs, and more)
• Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry upgrades (demo work, wall relining, flushing, tiling, cabinetry, basic plumbing installation)
• Plasterboard (framing, sheeting, flushing)
• Timber and vinyl flooring
• Roof sheeting & gutters
• Plastering, painting, rendering
• Fencing (repairing fences, pool fencing/compliance, etc)

To be successful in this role, the applicants will possess the following:

• Relevant AQF Qualifications or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years general Carpentry experience preferred
• Expertise in a building trade
• Experience with residential and commercial building renovation works /maintenance
• Professional conduct and appearance, positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Current drivers’ license
• Current white card
• Current National Police Chec
