Description As Carpentry Supervisor, you'll own the day-to-day leadership of our carpentry department, managing up to 4-6 active production crews across multiple job sites. But this role goes beyond traditional field Supervision. Over time, you'll take on a growing technology function: creating deck build plans, collaborating with engineers, supporting the sales team's bidding process, and developing CAD designs for projects. The long-term vision is to hire someone who can use smart tools and automation to streamline the work. We're not expecting you to show up on Day 1 with the skills to do all of this. We're looking to hire someone with the aptitude and drive to grow into it. Field Leadership Supervise and coordinate up to 4-6 carpentry crews across multiple active job sites Own production quality, crew scheduling, job site safety, and material coordination Oversee the execution of deck builds, siding installations, and finish carpentry projects Conduct regular site visits, quality checks, and crew performance reviews Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews and project management Systems & Technology (Growth Track) Identify inefficiencies in current field workflows and drive process improvements Learn and eventually own our project management and bidding software tools Work alongside our sales team to help accurately estimate and bid carpentry projects Collaborate with our engineer to develop deck build plans and construction documents Create CAD drawings and design plans to support sales, engineering and production Leverage automation and digital tools to scale output without adding headcount Requirements Required Experience and Skills 5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience with strong knowledge of deck build plans and construction documents 2+ years of Supervisory or Crew Leader experience managing multiple teams simultaneously Proven ability to maintain quality and production pace across concurrent job sites Strong communication - effective with crews on site and leadership in the office Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record and ability to drive between multiple job sites The Tech Mindset We Need You see technology as a tool, not a threat, and you are willing to learn new software and systems You naturally look for ways to streamline and systemize - you notice what's broken and want to fix it You're comfortable working in project management platforms, with spreadsheets or similar digital tools Experience in (or genuine interest in learning) estimating/bidding software and/or CAD design tools Bonus Points Familiarity with deck design or CAD software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, DeckDesigner, or similar) Experiencing using construction estimating or bidding platforms Background in developing or improving field processes at a residential contractor Experience working with structural engineers or pulling building permits What We Offer Competitive Pay - Commensurate with Experience Bonus Pay Programs - Opportunities to earn quarterly and annual bonuses Growth Path - A clear path into a senior leadership role Health Benefits - Healthcare, Dental and Vision Retirement - 401k with company match up to 4% of your annual income Continuous Training - Best of class Craftsman, Business, Leadership and Company specific training Technology - We strive to build smarter - and our leaders are moving us forward Seriously Great Culture - Work with an amazing group of people who will always have your back and take a real interest in your success.
