Baumgartner Custom Builders is looking for an experienced and meticulous Finish Carpenter to contribute their craftsmanship to some of Aspen’s most architecturally significant residential and commercial projects. SKILLS

  • 5+ years of finish carpentry experience in high-end residential or commercial settings.
  • Expert proficiency in carpentry tools, materials, and advanced installation methods.
  • Strong ability to interpret detailed construction and millwork documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with a dedication to delivering top-tier craftsmanship.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional communication skills and reliable site presence.
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Experience working in mountain or remote environments is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform interior and exterior finish carpentry with high precision and attention to detail.
  • Install doors, windows, trim, casing, paneling, built-ins, and specialty millwork.
  • Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, as well as finish schedules.
  • Work closely with site foremen and superintendents to sequence work and solve field challenges.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant work areas.
  • Perform self-checks for quality assurance to meet BCB’s elite finish standards.
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless transitions and efficient installations.
  • Use proper tools, materials, and installation techniques to deliver premium results.
  • Protect finished installations from damage during ongoing construction phases.
