Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join our dynamic team delivering Certificate III in Carpentry
This role is ideal for a qualified carpenter looking to share their skills and experience with the next generation of tradespeople. You will be responsible for delivering and assessing training in classroom, workshop, and/or on-site environments.
The successful candidate will be a mature team player, with a good attitude and adaptable to a diverse work environment; has an awareness of student learning needs from different backgrounds and a passion to facilitate learning and communication with international students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO -

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment in accordance with the national training package
  • Facilitate both theory and practical sessions for carpentry students
  • Conduct workplace assessments and provide Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) where applicable
  • Support and mentor learners to achieve their qualifications
  • Maintain compliance with RTO, ASQA, and WHS standards
  • Accurately record student progress and outcomes
