JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flooring installation and a strong understanding of various installation techniques. As a Carpet Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that carpets are installed correctly and efficiently, providing high-quality workmanship that meets our clients’ expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Proven experience in carpet installation or related fields such as maintenance person services or carpentry.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings.
• Strong skills in using hand tools specific to flooring installation.
• Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.

  Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

• Measure and cut carpet to fit designated areas accurately.
• Install carpet using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring a seamless finish.
• Read and interpret blueprints and installation plans to determine layout and design specifications.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing carpet materials.
• Apply caulking as needed to ensure proper sealing around edges and seams.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during and after installations.
• Assist with tile laying or other flooring installations as required.
