DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Senior sales professional working within Motorola with primary responsibility to achieve business targets through effective and consistent relationship management and customer engagement with Telstra stakeholders and business units.
Responsible for device ranging and sales, developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy and ongoing cadence to explore all opportunities to deliver incremental business outcomes for Motorola.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • End to end management and engagement of the Telstra account and stakeholders including the product and devices teams, retail teams, enterprise/B2B teams and other designated aligned retail accounts
  • Advocate, foster and promote Motorola products and services with Telstra, ensuring Motorola is front of mind and is the go to brand when it comes to ranging and promotional decisions. Ranging, sell through, sell out, instore execution and forecasting are all crucial to the successful candidate
  • Understanding key levers at the accounts and knowing how to position Motorola for success
  • Drive and secure the preparation of all RFI submission documentation including technical, marketing and commercials, working closely with support teams and established processes
  • Ensure final RFI docs are submitted on time and follow up as is needed both the customer and back end support teams.
  • Formulate and deliver marketing plans within internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Create Account plans with short mid and long - term aspirations
  • In conjunction with Finance team, align with Telstra on MDF/co-op investments, collate all supporting documents for payments to be made.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of the Australian mobile network operator business imperative
  • Sales and account management experience mandatory. Experience with Telstra and/or mobile brands a must.
  • Develops and adapts advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs; creates customer partnerships
  • Business Acumen for commercial and contract negotiations
  • Develops business solutions and directly addresses financial issues resulting in profitable revenue growth for Motorola; able to coordinate and present complete, complex solutions that meet customer needs and beat the competition
  • Mobile Market and Customer Knowledge imperative
  • Desired: MBA , Bachelors in Business management or marketing
  • 5 Years min Sales Account Management Experience in the ANZ Telco Industry selling to retail/carrier/distributor channels
