This position reports to the Carrier Compliance Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all carriers utilized by the company are properly qualified according to company guidelines. In this role, the Carrier Compliance Specialist will evaluate, analyze, and authorize the use of motor carriers within their designated level of authority.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a professional office type setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn, understand and apply knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and other federal regulations applicable to the transportation industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage timed projects and allow flexibility in work detail.
