Schedule: FT Job Type: Hybrid Salary Type: Salary Req #: 2032 About the Role As a Carrier Sales Representative II, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment. What the Candidate Will Do Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 0-1 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of brokerage experience and/or related experience in transportation Track and trace experience Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
