Description TITLE: Cart Delivery Driver DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Residential Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Cart Delivery Driver, under direction of the Lead Dispatcher, distributes, collects, and repairs company issued residential waste receptacles for new, current, and former Tiger Sanitation customers. Essential Functions: Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles Collects and distributes residential waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheet Actively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet to the dispatch team Notifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route Reviews and completes daily work orders Ability to navigate a route efficiently Ensures accurate completion of route sheet and VCR by the end of each day Other duties as assigned Requirements Ability to safely operate a non-DOT vehicle Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community Actively demonstrates Tiger Sanitation’s core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and Communication Ability to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Tiger Sanitation’s 4 Step Decision Making Process Ability to collaborate with coworkers Ability to prioritize activities in order to achieve, individual and team, expectations and goals Education and Experience Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License Working Conditions This position will be based in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements, with extended periods of standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
