Team Overview:
Being part of the Marketplace Team is developing one of the main cornerstones of the business: supply and demand. As part of the broader City Operations organization, our Marketplace team is responsible for the engagement and retention of our users and allocating supply in an efficient and timely manner to support both Driver and Passenger experience within the app. This position will be responsible for building deep insights about the ride-hailing business from a user, pricing, marketplace and competition perspectives. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, data driven solutions, prioritization capabilities and excellent execution. The role will demonstrate proactivity and be ready to grow in multi-skill projects and initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Generating strategies to improve driver and passenger engagement, loyalty and retention.
  • Creating new initiatives to efficiently balance our marketplace.
  • Doing data analysis to understand day-to-day behavior of our users and our competition
  • Improving the efficiency KPIs through operation tools and programs based on the robust data analysis
  • Collaborating with several supporting areas like marketing, product, and user research to place the user’s experience at the core of the driver and passenger experience.

Role Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Python and R is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, curious and passionate about generating impact.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
