Hamilton Montessori School is looking for a Casa Montessori Teacher. Individual(s) must provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate child(rens) growth, exploration and participation. New graduates are eligible to apply to this position

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Montessori Diploma (MACTE, AMI) in early childhood teaching, education or a related discipline is required
  • Additional courses or training in education would be advantageous
  • An ability to guide groups of children of differing ages, needs, and abilities
  • Patience and excellent observational communication, and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect
  • A lifelong learner who can be a good role model for children

ADDITIONAL EDUCATION:

  • ECE or Montessori Diploma
    -College or University background
  • Must be willing to obtain Montessori Training at the employers expense, for those who qualify
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Responsibilities

_- Setting an excellent example for children and instilling good values in them like honesty, accountability, understanding, tolerance, respect, love, and kindness.
- Treat all children unconditionally and with same importance level
- Maintain a clean, safe and positive classroom environment for children
- Coordinate with other teachers to develop lesson plans for children to develop their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills
- Help prepare materials for classroom activities when needed
- Assistant with daily routines, such as transitions between activities and maintain cleanliness.
- Coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their child(rens) progress
- Participate in school activities and accompanying students on field trips
- Attending seminars and workshops as and when required
- Adhering to the educational policies and guidelines at all times
