Academic Req: Required – High school diploma, or equivalent; Preferred – 2-year Associate degree from accredited program/institution, or two or more years of college-level course work in a related field Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention Work experience: Required – 1 plus year related experience and/or training; Preferred – 2 plus years related experience and/or training Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables: 1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position. 2. Enter information in Salesforce, and UC Portal as required by agency policy and procedures. 3. Review Salesforce and UC Portal for compliance with federal guidelines, as well as state minimum standards. 4. Document information related to delays in the reunification process. 5. Review and sign children’s records in accordance with agency policy and procedures and applicable licensing and contract standards. 6. Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations. 7. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and activities that promote professional growth and development. 8. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements. 9. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor. 10. Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency. 11. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations. 12. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times. Other Responsibilities: 1. Complete calls with families and/or sponsors as assigned to gather information used for reunification. 2. Develop safety and service-related resources prior to the discharge of the service population. 3. Review UC Portal for compliance with upload requirements and ensure the input of updates as needed for safe and timely discharge. 4. Provide the National Call Center referrals for service gaps identified during 30-day calls. 5. Support assigned case management, clinical, and medical team. 6. Meet all deadlines by program supervisor and federal partners. 7. Foster Care Programs - Support, encourage, and recruit foster parents. Requirements: 1. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. 2. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. 3. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks. 4. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals c. Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment. d. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. e. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position. f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team 5. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
