We Are Hiring Location: Wichita, KS Facility: Via Christi, St. Francis Department: Case Management Schedule: Day l Full-time Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University. What You Will Do Lead the charge in expediting discharges, ensuring that external providers have every piece of documentation they need to welcome our patients with open arms and no delays. Serve as the primary liaison between our Case Management team, Admissions, and Payers. Your ability to translate complex status updates into clear action items keeps the whole engine running smoothly. Facilitate the documentation process with payers, meticulously recording interactions and keeping the Utilization Management Nurses looped in so they can own the full documentation and patient's status. From obtaining authorizations for ancillary services to managing denial reporting, ensure that our patients get the resources they need—and that the hospital’s hard work is accurately recognized. What You Will Need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences Experience working in a medical setting.
