We are seeking a skilled Case Management Technology Administrator to oversee and optimize our case management systems and related platforms.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Case Management Technology Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of our core legal tech platforms—Filevine, Lead Docket, Outlaw, and Domo. This role is essential in ensuring that our attorneys, paralegals, and support staff are equipped with efficient, integrated tools that streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and drive productivity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience administering legal case management systems, with a focus on Filevine and Lead Docket.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and optimizing Outlaw and Domo platforms.
  • Strong understanding of law firm operations, case lifecycle, and intake processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and change initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Filevine Certified Admin (or equivalent certification or training)
  • Experience in personal injury, employment, or civil litigation firms
  • Basic SQL or scripting knowledge for reporting or automation
  • Familiarity with API integrations or legal tech stack ecosystems

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have a solid foundation in computer science or a related field, with experience in the following areas:

  • Systems engineering and system design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies including ESXi and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
  • Understanding of scripting languages (Bash/Unix shell) for automation tasks.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Ability to work within UNIX/Linux environments effectively. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about leveraging technology to improve client outcomes while possessing the technical acumen necessary for effective case management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,120.49 per year

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Filevine, Lead Docket, Outlaw, and Domo platforms.
  • Customize and configure workflows, templates, dashboards, and reports to meet evolving business and legal needs.
  • Monitor system performance and usage, proactively resolving issues and bottlenecks.
  • Lead data integrity initiatives, ensuring accurate and consistent information across platforms.
  • Collaborate with legal, intake, operations, and leadership teams to align technology with business goals.
  • Train team members on platform updates, new features, and best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, software updates, and licensing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and SOPs.
  • Analyze data using Domo and deliver reports or dashboards to support business decision-making.

DUTIES

  • Assess client needs and develop tailored case management plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement solutions using Service-Oriented Architecture and Solution Architecture principles.
  • Utilize knowledge of RAID controllers, NoSQL databases, and IT infrastructure to support case management processes.
  • Oversee system administration tasks, ensuring the integrity of operating systems and applications.
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels, utilizing RESTful APIs for efficient information exchange.
  • Maintain documentation of case progress, utilizing tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for data management.
  • Implement information security measures to protect sensitive client data.
  • Facilitate load balancing and ensure optimal performance of IT systems related to case management.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to adapt case management strategies based on evolving client needs.
  • Provide training and support on technologies such as VMware, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure to enhance team capabilities.
