RELATIONSHIPS

  • The post holder will be required to have contact with a variety of people during their work. The context of this contact will vary from formal ‘Key working’ to informal networking and relationship building with the Local Authority and other relevant agencies.
  • Annual appraisal and regular work review with line managers is an operational requirement, as is attendance at support workers team meetings.
  • It is recognised that Wirral Ark is operating in a dynamic environment and as such this job description may be varied in consultation with the post holder to reflect evolving needs of the business and changing nature of the job

Wirral Ark is looking for an experienced Case Management Worker ie
Experience of working in a homeless hostel
Experience of working in homeless services
Experience of risk assessment and support planning
Experience of case management ie managing a case load and working with them to progress
Experience of working on shifts ie 8am-3.30 / 1-9pm
In terms of experience we are looking for years ie 4+ years

JOB PURPOSE

Working in Mary Cole House (MCH) to assist in the provision of effective, high quality support services to vulnerable, homeless men and women who may have needs such as offending behaviour, substance misuse problems, mental health issues and who are vulnerable to rough sleeping, with the aim of promoting independent living. The role, which is entirely dedicated to clients in MCH, our homeless hostel, is to support clients in assessing their needs and involving clients as fully as possible in that process, using a balanced and open approach to risk.
