Description

About Resolution Life
Resolution Life Australasia (RLA) is owned by Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focusing on reinsurance, the acquisition and management of portfolios of life insurance policies and selective new business growth in strategic markets.
We are one of the leading life insurers in Australia and New Zealand, with ~ 1 million customers with superannuation, investments and life insurance policies, managing approximately A$30 billion in assets and have 1,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives, foster an inclusive, collaborative and flexible working environment, where everyone can thrive. We are a fully enterprise agile organisation, and will support your professional growth and reward your contribution.
The Opportunity
As an Income Protection Claims Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a compassionate and seamless experience for customers navigating challenging life events. You will take full ownership of a portfolio of claims, managing them end-to-end with professionalism and empathy. This includes interpreting policy terms, analysing medical and financial documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate claim payments - all while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
Working within a collaborative, self-managed team environment, you will contribute to shared goals by supporting daily workloads and identifying opportunities for sustainable outcomes through engagement with rehabilitation specialists, actuaries, and other stakeholders. Your ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and apply motivational interviewing techniques will be essential in guiding customers through their recovery and return-to-work journeys.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong customer focus, excellent time management, and a background in complex case management - ideally supported by an Allied Health qualification or experience in Workcover or legal settings. Your advanced MS Office skills, understanding of the risk insurance market, and knowledge of rehabilitation strategies will enable you to deliver high-quality outcomes while showing up positively for your customers, peers, and the broader business.
This role offers a Permanent full-time contract and embraces flexible working arrangements. You’ll have the freedom to work remotely, with occasional office attendance required on an ad hoc basis, ensuring a harmonious balance between business needs and personal flexibility.
