What You'll Do: In the Case Manager/Housing role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and those recently housed within the Oceanside community. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing direct services, advocacy, and resource coordination to promote client self-sufficiency, aligning with the mission of Interfaith Community Services. Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized case management plans for homeless clients and recently housed individuals Provide client advocacy by connecting clients with resources, referrals, and support services to facilitate stability and independence Maintain a thorough understanding of the Housing Authority Administrative Plan and Section 8 program rules and regulations. Collaborate closely with Housing Authority staff during the eligibility process, assisting clients with completing paperwork and gathering necessary supporting documents Respond promptly to referrals from Housing Authority staff and coordinate services to meet client needs Monitor client progress and adjust case plans as needed to ensure goals are met Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with agency and program standards Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to enhance service delivery Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients Ability to identify problems, and research and recommend solutions Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be highly organized and demonstrate attention to detail Demonstrated experience managing multiple deadlines and working effectively under pressure, using independent judgment to produce quality work under time constraints Demonstrated experience working with a collaborative team Working Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively among a diverse workforce population and maintain sound working relations with all levels within the organization Work with spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, cooperation and a sense of urgency Maintain a high degree of confidentiality over all matters in the course of business operations including client and employee information Ability to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize work and solve problems Requirements Who You Are: You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness.
