Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We’re looking for a Case Manager to provide technical and legislative expertise, ensuring a fair and firm regulatory system. In this role, you’ll make informed decisions that improve safety and minimise harm to passengers and road users, support and share knowledge with the Safer Commercial Transport teams, and liaise with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be joining a bubbly, collaborative team that values honesty and supports each other, while working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and quick learning are key. You will find out more about the role here: Position Description We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $96,401 - $106,548 of band unless otherwise agreed, commensurate to skills and experience. Ko koe tēnei | About you Along with being a quick learner, adaptable to legislative changes and new systems, and a supportive team member, you will also bring: Regulatory acumen - certification or relevant experience. Experience handling cases in a regulatory or compliance environment. Case management or compliance management background. Experience with front-facing regulatory roles. Good understanding of legislation and the ability to interpret and apply rules. Energetic, agile, and a great team fit - this is a fast-paced role for someone who can make decisions quickly. You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service. Mō mātou | About Us The Safer Commercial Transport team is responsible for regulating commercial transport operators: from heavy vehicles to small passenger services. We do this by monitoring our sector through audits, reviews and investigations and working with industry to drive best practice. The team regulates transport operators that have been licensed to operate as a transport service.
