Only seeking nurses… we are looking for a Case Manager who has experience in Utilization Review and Concurrent Review. This position is for a PRN and can include weekend hours: Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 9 am to 7:30 p.m. Experience with Discharge Planning is a plus. Working knowledge of MCG, Interqual, or some software for criteria is desired, but we will provide ample training. We are not a temp service.
- Discuss care plans with the patient’s physician and patient/family/significant other to assure appropriate services and plan for post-hospital care needs.
- Perform pre-admission, admission concurrent, extended stay and retrospective reviews using approved criteria
- Thorough understanding of authorization process and work closely with payors to coordinate services
