Description
The WIOA Case Manager is a public workforce grant funded position responsible for the coordination of enrolment and client services to eligible individuals in the One-Stop System. They are responsible for determining what program potential clients may be eligible for based on state and local guidance. The Case Manager is an individual contributor on a team that is expected to meet/exceed performance objectives under the contract and ensure compliance with client, state and federal policies and procedures. Primary Job Functions: Assess and enrol clients in: WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth programs along with any other grants we may be charged with serving. Network and develop relationships with community leaders and service organizations which will be beneficial to Manpower and the contract. Follow all policies and procedures to enrol clients while obtaining required documentation. Other accountabilities as assigned Required • 3-5 years of experience in workforce development, staffing or sales of services with increasing responsibility for outcomes • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) • High School Diploma • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work with or without supervision • Ability to market programs and services • Ability to facilitate training sessions • Demonstrated ability to problem solve • Perform additional tasks as required • Ability to work as part of a team • Ability to work with a diverse population on a daily basis Nice to Have • Bachelor’s degree in communication or human resources related area.
