As we serve a wide range of customers your caseload can be as broad or niched as you prefer.
We are searching for independent Vocational Rehabilitation and Disability Management Consultants to complement our team and expand our high touch approach and proactive services to our customers in a work from anywhere capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Affiliation with a professional college or association (CVRP, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Kinesiology)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field of vocational rehabilitation, disability management or occupational health
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Demonstrated resiliency, empathy and compassion with customers while maintaining sponsor expectations.
  • Case Management experience in the disability space

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans with a goal of return to work or stay at work
Action and prioritizing daily tasks such as emails, telephone calls, assessments, reports within pre-determined timelines and maintain accurate and up to date records
Coordinate with multiple healthcare professionals, insurers, and other relevant parties to ensure comprehensive care
Monitor clients’ progress and adjust rehabilitation and return to work plans as needed

Maintain file management of simple to complex claims including but not limited to:

  • Return to Work Planning
  • Sick Leave Adjudication
  • Disability Management
  • Rehabilitation Planning

Complete comprehensive assessments and reports including

  • Initial Assessments
  • Standard Action Plans & Progress Reports
  • Return to/Stay at work plans
  • Letters, correspondence and medical questionnaires
