This position is responsible for a caseload of youth and referred by Allegheny County Juvenile Probation to the Abraxas WorkBridge Program. The case manager is responsible for linking youth on his or her caseload to an appropriate site to perform court ordered community service. The case manager will work with the youth to find an appropriate non-profit site for community service, monitor the youth’s progress and communicate that progress and completion of hours to juvenile probation officer. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field * Experience working with at-risk youth or juvenile justice systems preferred * Strong organizational and communication skills * Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Benefits & Perks: We provide a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that offers the protection, peace of mind and flexibility designed to support you – both at home and at work. * Medical & Dental & Vision Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * Basic Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance * 401(k)  * Life Assistance Program (LAP) * Tuition Assistance Program * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Paid Holidays * Paid Training * Advancement Opportunities Key Responsibilities: * Maintains a client caseload as assigned. * Communicates and enforces program expectations and standards.  * Develops appropriate service plans through the utilization of various nonprofit organizations to meet court ordered community service hours.  * Responsible for scheduling site interviews for clients and attending those appointment(s) to develop a schedule with site supervisor and youth for community service hours to be completed and explain WorkBridge expectations. * Supports clients and their families in completing any court ordered restitution and community service.  * Maintains communication with community service site to discuss client progress and verify hours are completed. * Maintains communication with juvenile probation officer(s) assigned to each client to meet contractual obligations with referral agency. * Responsible for monitoring and reporting clients progress, or lack thereof, including discharge paperwork, to supervising juvenile probation officer.  * Prepare and submit restitution payments for stipend clients assigned to case manager.  * Responsible for site development in prospective area.  * Maintain online calendar with all daily activities and appointments. * Responsible for making sure Echo database system is updated weekly for all clients.  * Attends client court hearings and reviews when asked by probation.  * Maintains confidentiality of information as it relates to client information. * Supports the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care. * Follow all APIS, Abraxas Youth & Family Services, and WorkBridge policies and procedures. * All other duties as assigned.
