Job Summary: The Manager of Children�s Case Management oversees the strategic vision and leadership for Case Management services across the Children�s campus, ensuring patient access to a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities encompass program development, compliance, and budget management while integrating behavioral health services into overall patient care. This role involves fostering community partnerships, advocating for mental health awareness, and overseeing staff development to maintain high standards and cultural competence in service delivery, including implementing specialized training programs. Education: Required: - Master�s Degree and Licensure in Social Work or related field in the State of Tennessee Preferred: - MBA or similar advanced degree Experience: Required: - A minimum of four years� experience in social work in addition to a minimum of 3 years of management experience (in any field.) - Above average ability to use sound clinical judgment and communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats. - Willingness to address opportunities for improvement. Ability to be extremely self-directed and able to communicate effectively with professional staff across many disciplines and programs. - Knowledge of community resources and demonstrated success in partnering across departments, campuses and outside organizations. - Proven success in program development and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare laws is essential. Preferred: - N/A Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration: Required: - Licensed Social Worker in the State of Tennessee and/or Preferred: - N/A Department Position Summary: Leadership - Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Case Management service line in alignment with the hospital�s mission and goals Program Development - Identify opportunities to expand and improve Case management programs and services considering community needs, emerging trends and best practices. Quality Assurance - Ensure Compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and healthcare laws related to case management provision of services. - Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcome and satisfaction Budgeting & Resource Management - Develop and manage the departmental budget, allocating resources efficiently to support program needs - Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment, technology and resources for effective service delivery Community Engagement & Partnerships - Foster relationships with community organizations, mental health agencies, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for patients� holistic care - Continue to foster active partnerships with law enforcement, Homeless Health, CADAS and Joe Johnson Mental Health Center Staff Development & Training - Provide leadership, mentorship and professional development opportunities to staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. - Ensure staff adherence to best practices, ethical standards and cultural competence in service delivery
