ABOUT THE ROLE:

Young people subject to EBSS will be supported by a case management team including a Case Manager, EBSS Case Officer and EBSS Practice Lead. A co-case management model will be used to deliver tailored supervision and support to young people, through strong collaborative practice amongst the case management team. This role sits within the broader Youth Justice Bail and Court Advice team and you will work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Providing case support to young people, including engaging with the young person, completing outreach (including home visits) and supporting case management interventions.

  • Providing technical expertise in electronic monitoring to support suitability assessments.
  • Installation, removal, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic monitoring devices for young people subject to EBSS.
  • Engaging with complex young people and working therapeutically with young people and their families to promote their rehabilitation.
